Reviews
A real gem in Paris! We were recommended this restaurant, and it was really delicious. It's very small, and kinda hidden on a small street, close to the Arc. Very popular, and reservations seem to be the way to go. A nice menu, with option to have three course dinner...or just starter, and entrée, etc. And, also rather affordable. The Beef Stew was so incredible!! Definitely, will be going back next time in Paris 🇫🇷
I don't know what else to say but fantastic food, service and quality at a reasonable price. I really enjoyed every aspect of my visit. I can not recommend Le Hide more highly. It has a lovely family sort of atmosphere and due to the small size of the restaurant, a cozy feel too. Booking is highly recommended as it was packed the 2 nights we visited in the week.
Phenomenal food/service! Staff are very attentive & friendly, with very short waiting times once you have ordered. The beef I ordered melted in my mouth & it’s not super loud which is a nice change for a small restaurant. Makes for a relaxing atmosphere.
Value for $ is good as well…getting a starter, main + dessert for €41.
Will be back next time I’m in Paris!
Fantastic place for dinner. Servings are larger than we expected. Highly recommend the Crawfish ravioli and Beef bourguignon. Excellent wine recommendation from our server.
We originally picked this spot, as it is close to where we are staying. After speaking to a friend who has been to Paris recently, they confirmed it is one of their favorite spots to dine.
I can totally see why. We had the crawfish ravioli and escargot to start. Both were delicious, but really they showcase french butter, a guilty pleasure, that is a forbidden usually. But what the heck, we are on vacation right?
For our mains, we had duck breast with roasted fruit, and beef Bourgogne, which was melt in your mouth. Both were beyond delicious.
Portions were large, we are from North America, and I struggled to finish my plate.
Dessert was apple tartine, served with vanilla bean ice cream, and sour cream. Which honestly I was too full to eat, but my husband devoured it.
I would highly recommend this fantastic place, it is reasonably priced, good service, and tasty food.
We were having a touristy weekend in Paris and were looking for a reasonably priced restaurant doing French food and found le hide online. It’s such an amazing little restaurant and we were given a table for 2 in the window, which was so amazing. The 2 waitresses serving us were amazing, very attentive, always topping drinks up and willing to put up with awful attempts at French and guide us in English! The Crayfish starter was so tasty and the foie gras terrine was perfect. The fillet steak was cooked spot on and the duck main course was just flavourful bite after flavourful bite, we didn’t want it to end! For €83 we couldn’t have asked for much more and next time we visit Paris we will certainly be back!
Lovely place! We had a fantastic dinner. The waitress had great recommendations and was patient and sweet. She was accommodating in telling us about gluten-free dishes on the menu.
We had the beef fillet and the roasted duck breast, which were nothing but perfect. Poached pear for dessert was right on the spot.
Also great wines. Just perfect evening.
Food was exceptionally well cooked and delicious. Very polite waitress who spoke English. The menu had an excellent variety and the atmosphere made our visit a wonderful experience.
